Everyone needs something warm and soft between themselves and the world.

Ketjusilmukka's socks and other delightful creations are lovingly crafted in the cozy home workshop of a passionate knitting dreamer. I'm a clothing artisan trying to conquer the world of knitting, one stitch and row at a time. 

Sometimes the enthusiasm to create is bigger than the skill, but I think learning new things is just part of working with your hands and doing crafts. What I love is not being "finished" - there's always the chance to learn something new and wonderful.

Handmade items make the most wonderful gifts - for your loved ones, a friend, someone who already has everything, or simply to bring a little joy to your own everyday life.

All the products in the online shop are handmade by me, with my own two hands. Every sock and mitten has been knitted with love, honoring traditional craftsmanship. They're not meant to look factory-made - instead, the maker's touch is meant to be seen and felt.
